New Hope Behind Prison Walls

The Yokefellows believe in regeneration rather than rehabilitation.

Many Yokefellows volunteer who minister in penal institutions throughout the U.S. serve as a supportive arm of chaplains. Small spontaneous groups meet for spiritual fellowship on a weekly basis.

The purpose of the group is to share and be sensitive to the painful needs of each other. It is also to study the Scriptures, worship, and pray together and thus provide a redemptive fellowship through which persons may be led into the liberation of the Christian way of life amid bleak surroundings.

Notice: New Volunteer training dates set for: January 24, February 7, 14, 21,28 and March 7, 2006.

Call the office at 570-326-6868 to sign up for this training.

I was in prison and you came to me...as you came to the least of my brothers, you came to Me -- (Matthew 25:36)
